Not all beaches have their usual lifeguard coverage at the moment. So if you’re heading to the coast, please look after your family and stay safe.
It looks like this week might be a bit of a scorcher. But if you’re heading to the beach, please leave the inflatables at home. It’s all too easy to get blown out to sea.
When you’re at the coast, please be aware of the tides. It’s very easy to get cut off by the incoming water. Seek advice from the locals. And if you *do* get into trouble, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
The RNLI’s volunteer lifeboat crews rescue dogs, too. So please don’t try to rescue your four-pawed friend yourself. Dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
